Kentuckians for Strong Leadership Calls Out Grimes’ Obamacare Allegiances in New Radio Ad

Grimes and Reid support Obamacare; McConnell fights it and supports Kentucky

(Louisville) Kentuckians for Strong Leadership (KSL), a Section 527 Super PAC, released a new statewide radio ad connecting liberal senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Twice in two weeks, Reid personally blocked Senator Mitch McConnell from protecting Kentucky families from Obamacare and protecting Kentucky coal jobs from the Obama-Reid War on Coal.

“Grimes is trying to fool Kentuckians – serving up platitudes on Obamacare and coal while getting ready to raise cash in Las Vegas with Harry Reid, the chief defender of Obamacare and the War on Coal,” said Riggs Lewis, board member of Kentuckians for Strong Leadership.  “Alison Grimes has two new middle names: Harry Reid – and everyone in Kentucky’s going to know it.”

The 60-second ad, called “Anarchists,” can be heard here:

ANNC: Harry Reid is the liberal boss of the U.S. Senate – and he loves Obamacare.

SEN. REID: “Obamacare has been wonderful for America.”

ANNC: Last week, Harry Reid called leaders like Senator Mitch McConnell “anarchists.”

Why? Because Mitch McConnell is fighting to stop the Obamacare bailout for Harry Reid and other Members of Congress.  He’s fighting to protect Kentucky families from Obamacare’s destructive mandates.  And Mitch McConnell is not giving up.

SEN. McCONNELL: “We ought to pull it out, root and branch.”

ANNC: That’s why Harry Reid personally recruited liberal Alison Grimes to run against McConnell.  And now Grimes is raising money with Harry Reid in Las Vegas.

The choice is clear: Grimes and Reid, pushing ObamaCare on us while Members of Congress get a bailout.

Or Mitch McConnell, a fighter for Kentucky.
